Town Hall Meeting with Legislators–Tonight!

The Town Hall meeting with our legislators is tonight from 7 – 8 p.m. at the Columbia Public School Administration Building at 1818 W. Worley. Attached is the flyer for the event and below is additional information. This sounds like a fantastic opportunity to discuss educational issues with the legislators who represent us!

Why is this event important to you? Because PTA is about supporting and speaking up for children – in schools, in communities, and in our state and federal government. As members of PTA you belong to the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the United States. State and Federal laws have a major impact on funding and policy for education and well-being of our children. You may not think that you personally can have an impact, but by attending an event like this you show that you care. Come meet the people that will be representing you and let them know that education is a priority.

Thanks for your support and all you do for PTA!

Sincerely,

June Hurdle
